Hasn't anyone made any Super8 movies that we can watch online? It would be inspiring to see other actual super8 projects.
I like the third one,the Fizzies. The music and video is very retro early English invasion 60's,even though the production on the video is more simplistic.
I think the second one looks like DV.
Is the material scanned or processed via telecine?

We had only about $500 to work with on the video, so we kept it very simple. Two film stocks were utilized (50D and 100T), purchased as part of a package from Pro8mm in Burbank.
The performance space was donated to us by a large recording studio on Sunset in Hollywood, a very nice and 'professional' addition to the video. I shot with a Beaulieu 4008 ZM2 with an Angienieux 8-64 lens.
I'm currently completing a B&W short on Super8 which will be posted online when finished. Keep an eye on my website for news. www.calgodot.com
If you ever want that look again, you might consider Kodachrome and playing with the contrast and grain in post.
I was watching some clips from the Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" the other day and I noticed they made use of a lot of visual gags like staging action backwards and filming in reverse.
Also the old Monkees TV show borrowed many of those gags, some of them even introduced new artists at the end of the show for some of their very first music videos.
By the way,Cal, were you shooting with a crystal on that Beaulieu? The sync on the performance shots was very good.
